OPP was a validated psychometric assessment tool within the Pro.file Performance System designed to measure the seven most important career and work-related characteristics in adults. Organizations used the OPP tool for self-assessment of existing employees and for pre e-ployment personality testing of job candidates.
In 2012, Pro.file embarked on a brand redesign to modernize and reinvigorate the tools, website and marketing material. The OPP tool was renamed during this project to more effectively represent what its use was, with careful consideration to not pigeonhole its use based on its multitude of applications in the workplace.
The OPP tool has now been renamed Pro.file
People. It was aptly named so as to describe what it does within the
Pro.file suite of tools and where it should be applied. Pro.file People still
provides the same rich insights as before on people, their motivations,
relates to understanding people.
The results from the employee assessments
and pre-employment screening allow hiring managers to quickly recognize whether
individuals have the key personality characteristics and motivation necessary
for success. They immediately understand what a person will do, naturally, and
what they won’t. Just as before
with OPP, organizations will continue to use Pro.file People for insights
into people for promotions, succession
planning, coaching as well as a multitude of other applications.
